Det där med sexig heshet

Jag kan inte komma på vad ordet "hes" är på engelska. Det står bara still i huvudet. Så jag gör som engelskalärarna uppmanade oss att göra i skolan: försöka förklara ordet med andra ord.

Jag: You know when you have a sore throat, your voice sounds a certain way...?
Ivan: Sore?
Jag: No. You know Bryan Adams?
Ivan: ...
Jag: Well, how would you describe the voice of Bryan Adams?
Ivan: I don't really recall how he sounds, partner.

Jag: Sarah, you know Bryan Adams, right?
Sarah: Yeh?
Jag: There´s a word I'm looking for. How would you describe his voice?
Sarah: Annoying?
Jag: ...
Sarah: Well, husky, crooky.. Whatever.

Jag: Ivan! Now I have the word! Husky!
Ivan: Oh, a husky voice. Well, why didn't you just say Rod Stewart instead? I mean, Bryan Adams!
